I’ve been very fortunate for people to reach out to me with career related questions and/or get a chance to meet me to learn about my career as I know that so many people have given me the opportunity to meet with them when I was in need. I understand that these conversations have the power to unlock doors, opportunities, and provide a great learning experiences.
I was inspired by one of my friends, Liz Kim’s Office Hours requirements, where she requested for those who would like seek time with her would be required to donate to a charity and I would like to replicate her process here in the efforts that we spread the goodness beyond the walls of our 1/1 call and to organizations in need.
For my time, all I ask is a donation of $35 to City Harvest ($15 for students). As we live through these tough times, there are fellow New Yorkers who do not have enough to eat or have enough money to purchase fresh fruits/vegetables for their families.
